Snapshot: SBR Consulting, Inc is a professional services consultancy that services Oracle Technology and E-Business clients in the Southeast.  Staffing firms, in general, are an important part of the supply chain to our business model, as we rely on staffing firms to help us find resources to supplement our project staffs.

Challenge: On a recent project, we had identified a candidate we wanted to bring onto the engagement as a contractor.  However, when he asked to be a W-2 Contractor because he needed access to group health insurance, this was something we were unable to offer him.  We were at risk of losing this key resource for our project.

Solution:  Hunter agreed to hire our resource as a W2 employee through their Payroll Services program and bill him back to us at a very reasonable rate.  This gave us the opportunity to protect our cost structure and give him the benefits he needed to support his family.
